Mobile (or cellphone) novels is the term used in reference to stories written or shared through a mobile phone.

This form of literature, which originated in Japan in 2003, has grown into a publishing phenomenon where tens of thousands of people have used the power of social media and mobile phones in Asia that has taken the publishing industry by storm. A fact to consider: by 2007, 5 out 10 books in Japan's top seller list was born as a mobile novel.

The purpose of this blog is to share our thoughts on the future of mobile novels, publishing, e-books, and digital content as we develop, movellas into the leading social platform for people who love writing stories, and the stories we all love.
