American Rapper Releases Mobile Novel

Some people may have the opinion that Rapper are not even able to read a book. Well, the Queens-born Rapper David Styles (StylesP) actually wrote a book by himself. That fact alone is not much of a new story. Lots of famous people discover the literary genre earlier or later in their career to express themselves and for the nice side effect of being able to create an additional revenue stream. But here comes a fact that makes this story interesting.
StylesP wrote his 240 pages gangster novel “Invincible”entirely on his mobile phone.
While thriving for additional options and ways to express his creativity, he wanted to write a book for over five years but never felt entitled to. What held him back were thoughts that he would not be able to put it in a proper format because he never went to a writing school. Fortunately, a couple of years ago he did it anyways.
The mobile phone was the right platform for him to create his novel because he could write a new dialogue, a new chapter everywhere and when creativity strikes. He was not bound to a desktop computer or a laptop he would have had to carry around. He often wrote on his novel in the studio, while recording his latest LP, “The Ghost Dub-Dime”.
Furthermore, StylesP produced an according soundtrack for his novel. Now you can listen to the music of the book while reading it. I bet that is a unique user experience not many books are able to provide. Fans of the Rapper already spread their opinions on Twitter and Amazon and seem to love his recent work.
Conclusion: It is a remarkable book that points out all the classical features of a Mobile Phone Novel.
You can watch a video of StylesP taking about his novel on MTV.
